Engineering from Concept to Realization

Engineering is the translation of a technical problem into a feasible solution. Built By Mulder supports companies in designing, developing, and preparing technical projects. From concept to supplier selection and preparation, we ensure that your project is not only sound on paper but also successfully realized in practice.

Within the industry, engineering projects are divided into different phases. Although the designations may vary per company and depend on the type of project (and sector), BUILT BY MULDER works according to the following engineering phases:

1. Concept Engineering
Delivers the feasibility of a technical project
2. Basic Engineering
Delivers a CAPEX investment decision (+/-10%) and allows for permit applications
3. Detail Engineering
Delivers a fully built plant "on paper"

Processes

Additionally, we focus on “wet” processes. Examples include chocolate, yeast, bread improver, latex, and (cooling) water processes, as well as various additive systems.

Levels

Engineering can be performed at concept, basic, and detailed levels. These are developed using the engineering tools applied by BBM. BBM performs engineering on an ad interim basis or in the form of project management.

Broad Experience

We offer a mechanical engineering background, supplemented with various training courses and experiences to broaden the field. We have broad experience in the (process) industry, both in engineering and technical project management.
